Aurora's First Spring Fayre
Aurora held an fundraising event in May 2011. The event was a Spring Fayre held at a local church hall in Kingston Vale, South West London where there were various stalls, live music and activities. Despite moderate attendance enough money was raised to make it a successful campaign.
A big, big thank you to all volunteers who gave up their time and energy so generously to prepare, organise and deliver the event.
Heartfelt thanks also to a number of local businesses who made gift contributions to the event, namely:
- John Lewis
- Odeon Cinema
- Frankie & Bennies
- LUSH
- Vale News
- CHANGE Personal Training
Thank you also to Waitrose in Kingston-upon-Thames who - although unable to contribute to the event - have offered to include Aurora in their Community Matters initiative for the month of June. If you live in Kingston-upon-Thames and shop in Waitrose please pop an Aurora token in the box!
